What it does
Browsers, Slack, editors, docs — anywhere you can select text, Pluck works.
Select something and the panel is already there. No hotkey to remember, no menu to open. It appears in the same corner every time, so you always know where to look.
Selection is the main route; this is the fallback. Some apps never reveal what you selected, so there you press ⌘C and Pluck picks it up instead — no Accessibility permission needed for this path.
Every suggestion gets ⌃1–⌃0. Your hands stay on the keyboard, and Pluck never takes focus away from the app you were working in.

Detects the language automatically and translates on your device. macOS may download a language model from Apple the first time you use a language pair.
About shell commands: a command you configure runs on your Mac under your own user account, with your own permissions — it can do anything you could do yourself. Don't run rules or commands from sources you don't trust. See Terms §4.
Design philosophy
Suggestions always appear in the same corner of the screen, never moving with your selection. You can leave them at the edge of your vision and keep reading, and only look over when you actually want one. A good tool stays quiet.
Regex rules aren't an extension or a plugin — they're the core of Pluck. Type a pattern and a template into Settings, and your ticket keys, internal IDs and order numbers become one-click actions. No extension gallery to dig through, no config files to write.
Everything runs on your device. Pluck never sends keystrokes to other apps, and ignores anything your password manager marks as concealed. An app that watches your selection should be built for its most suspicious user. If you'd rather not grant Accessibility permission yet, you can try it through the ⌘C route first.
