Setting up

Launch Pluck.
No window opens. An icon in the menu bar means it's running. If you don't have it yet, download it here. -
Grant Accessibility permission.
Click the Pluck icon in the menu bar and choose "Check Accessibility permission". System Settings opens at the Accessibility pane. Switch Pluck on in the list. -
Check that it works.
TypeWT-1234anywhere and select it. Suggestions should appear in the top-right corner of the screen. If nothing appears, copy it with ⌘C and try again. -
Point the default rule at your own setup.
The "Open Jira ticket" rule ships with the placeholder domainyour-domain.atlassian.net. See Writing rules to change it to yours.
You can skip step 2. The ⌘C route works without the permission; what the permission adds is suggestions from a selection alone. Pluck runs on macOS 15 or later.
Keyboard shortcuts
Pluck's keyboard shortcuts. The suggestion panel never takes focus, so you can press them without leaving the app you're working in.

Trial and licence
The free 14-day trial includes every feature. Once it ends, until you activate a licence, selecting or copying text produces no suggestions — a purchase prompt appears in the panel instead, and ⌃⌘I shows that prompt rather than the typing window. Licence keys are entered in the License tab of Settings.
